Introduction:
The ZH-CSC Shuttle box video analysis system (Quantitative measurement of animal behavior changes) belongs to the classic joint learning conditioned reflex. Animals can avoid harmful stimuli through learning. The bottom is a stainless steel grid. Electric current and unconditional stimulation are used to shock the soles of the animals. The top is equipped with a noise generator for generating conditioned stimuli. Shock after several seconds of conditioned stimulation. If the rat escapes to the safe zone during the safe interval of the ringtone stimulation, it is an active avoidance response; if the rat does not escape to the safe zone during the safe interval of the stimulus stimulation, then the passive escape is performed if the rat escapes to the safe zone after AC shock. The computer automatic control system could record relevant animal action parameters. Active avoidance time refers to the length of time that an animal receives a conditioned stimulus. The shorter the value, the faster the animal's active avoidance response and the stronger its learning and memory ability.
This experiment is widely used in experimental research in learning and memory function, cognitive neuroscience, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology, cognitive function degenerative degeneration, etc. It is simple, easy to operate, easy to discern results, and highly reliable.
